Story behind “The Beautiful Blend”

We have been asked why we chose “The Beautiful Blend” as the brand for MJ's Barn and wanted to share with you the story.

The Mike and Jitt story, aka MJ, began when we blended our lives together in 2006. This required a blending of our families, our friends, our faiths, our beliefs, and our adventures in life. Along this journey, God has given us a glimpse of what we believe heaven will be like: all of His children focusing on Him and His creation while our hearts blend together in perfect love. A love that makes you feel safe, welcomed, and appreciated. A love that makes you say “I am home and I am valued”.

When we were blessed to have the opportunity to buy a piece of heaven on earth, we knew we had to share with others. We created MJ's Barn – The Beautiful Blend to give everyone the smallest sliver of view into what heaven might look like. It’s a place where all can come and feel safe, welcomed, loved and appreciated. We open our home and our hearts to those who want to experience our attempt at providing genuine love for all beliefs, races, faiths, sexes, etc. All are welcome here. So come, sit by our fire and share in our laughter or cry in our grief. Come if only for a couple hours, or a couple of days, and add your story to The Beautiful Blend. We’d love to have you!
